A KC area native, Cole comes from a family of musicians and music teachers. Having been teaching music lessons for over ten years, he’s honored to carry on the family legacy. Starting music at a young age, Cole has been performing in rock and jazz bands since he was in middle school, with his main instruments being piano, guitar, and voice. He attended Fort Hays State University for his undergraduate degree, and got his Master’s degree from Pitt State. Having taught in the public school system for 5 years, his approach to music instruction is to find fun and exciting ways to learn music. “Practice can be boring,” Cole says, “but it doesn’t have to be!” Outside of music, Cole enjoys golf, video games, and spending time with family and friends.
