Katherine Anderson

Katherine is a music educator who believes in the power of building strong communities and connecting through music. She studied clarinet performance and music education with a vocal emphasis at KU from 2017-2021. In 2021, Katherine worked as an ensemble manager at the Interlochen Summer Arts Academy in Michigan. From 2022-2024, she taught orchestra at Rosedale Middle School and a few surrounding elementary schools in Kansas City Kansas Public Schools. During her time at Rosedale, she consistently empowered and encouraged students to try their best and find joy in their progress. As she transitions from large classes to private/small group lessons, Katherine is excited to build relationships and truly understand and celebrate the strengths each student brings.
