Kevin McAfoos is a drummer, educator, and audio/video technician in Kansas City. Originally hailing from small town Cleveland, MO, Kevin was given ample opportunity to try his hand at music education as a teen. By 14 he was giving private lessons on guitar and assisting his high school band instructor with shaping up the drumline. A former Music House student himself, Kevin is intimately familiar with our approach to lessons. He is meticulous about discovering and developing each student’s unique tastes and skillset. 

As a performer, Kevin has taken the stage at several local venues, most notably Knuckleheads Saloon. His Blues band Missing Blue received a sponsorship from the Kansas City Blues Society to travel to Memphis and perform at the National Blues Competition in 2016.
