Senior Send-off: Nate Singer
The next graduating senior student that we want to highlight is Nate Singer. "Nate is a fantastic guitar player whose abilities and high character will take him far!" says his guitar teacher Jon Self. Next stop for Nate? Indiana University to study finance and music. Go get 'em Nate!
Here's what Nate had to say when we interviewed him recently.
What instrument do you play?
I play guitar.
How long have you been a student at Music House?
I've been at Music House for eight years.
What are your plans after graduating high school? If you're going to college, do you know what you'll be studying?
I'll be heading to Indiana University to study finance and music .
How do you think music will be a part of your life after Music House?
Music impacts my life every day so I want to keep up my playing. Not just for myself, but also to be able to share it with everyone around me.
What is a moment at Music House that you'll never forget?
Performing at the Record Bar with my band.
What advice do you have for Music House students who are just starting?
Stay patient and keep pushing when it seems hard.
What will you miss most about Music House?
The community. I'll miss playing with my band and seeing everyone every week at rehearsals and lessons.
What's the best piece of musical advice you've received?
Effort will pay off even if it doesn't sound like it immediately.
What do you hope to remember most about your best performance at Music House?
I hope people will remember the precision and accuracy of my band's final show!
